County Road 10 is closed to thru traffic between Buttermilk Falls Road and Enright Road until further notice due to a fallen tree that has taken down hydro lines.

Cemetery Closure

Riverside Cemetery is closed to vehicles and pedestrians until further notice due to the threat of falling tree limbs.

Significant Weather Event Declared Effect March 28, 2025, at 12:00 pm

The Town of Greater Napanee has declared a significant weather event effective March 28, 2025, at 12:00 pm as defined within the Minimum Maintenance Standards O.Reg. 239/02.

During the significant weather event, the Town is advising motorists and pedestrians to use extra caution as the municipality may not be able to meet its maintenance standards for roads, bike lanes, and sidewalks due to the freezing rain expected.

The declaration will not change how or when the municipality performs its winter maintenance operations. However, it may take the municipality longer than usual to bring the roads and sidewalks back to a state of repair. Public safety is the municipality’s top priority.

The Town of Greater Napanee will update the public with information during this significant weather event via our social media pages and website.

2025 Concrete Sidewalk Repair Quotation

March 27, 2025 

The Town of Greater Napanee invites all contractors to submit a bid for miscellaneous concrete sidewalk repair for the 2025 operating year. The proposed work is for ongoing replacement of concrete sidewalk panels within the Town of Greater Napanee. The duration of the contract will be for a period commencing June 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026.

Deadline for proposal submissions: Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 12:00 pm local time

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked:

Please include a company WSIB clearance certificate  and insurance certificate with a minimum coverage of $5,000,000.00 for liability and property damage with your proposal.

The lowest or any proposal not necessarily accepted.
