Mailing of Tax Bills & Bag Tags

Please note that individuals who are on regular instalments or pre-authorized instalments will have their tax bills and bag tags (if applicable) mailed on Friday, January 31st, 2025.

Individuals who are on monthly pre-authorized instalments or payment through their mortgage will have their bag tags mailed no later than Friday, February 7th, 2025.

We kindly ask that residents allow a reasonable amount of time for Canada Post to deliver these packages and refrain from contacting the Town right away as tax bills and bag tags may arrive over several days.

New Phone Number for Municipal Water & Sewer and Public Works Emergencies

Please be advised that there is a new number for after-hours municipal water & sewer and public works emergencies. As of Monday, January 27, 2025, the new number is 1-888-921-1141.

As a reminder, municipal water & sewer and public works concerns can be reported during regular business hours by calling our office at 613-354-3351.

Public Notice - Proposed Increase to Certain Municipal Fees for Service

December 16, 2024 

Council will consider a by-law to update certain Municipal Fees for Service related to Cemetery
operations at the January 14, 2025, regular meeting of Council. The meeting will be held in person at
124 John Street and will be livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel.

The proposed changes of fees for service for 2025 include increasing the purchase price of cemetery
in-ground plots and columbarium niches, interment fees, and other miscellaneous fees. For the full list

The Council report presented at the November 26, 2024, regular meeting of Council details all
proposed Fees for Services increases. This report is available under the ‘Agendas and Minutes’
portal of the Town’s website, www.greaternapanee.com.

Any written comments regarding the proposed fees may be directed to Jessica Walters, Clerk, at 343-
302-5238 or jwalters@greaternapanee.com prior to 12:00 noon on Monday, January 13, 2025. All
written comments will be presented to Council for consideration.
