Holiday Curbside Collection Changes

Please note that if you are scheduled to receive curbside collection on December 25th, your garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday, December 23rd. If you are scheduled to receive curbside collection on January 1st, your garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday, December 30th.

Holiday Office Closure

Tuesday, December 24th, 2024 - Office open 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and payment services available from  9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 - Closed for Christmas Day

Thursday, December 26th, 2024 - Closed for Boxing Day

December 27th, 30th, and 31st, 2024:
Closed for public access; however, staff will be available via telephone and email to assist the public between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm on December 27th & 30th and between 8:30 am - 12:00 pm on December 31st.
Wednesday, January 1, 2025 - Closed for New Year’s Day
Thursday, January 2, 2025 - Resume regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm for payment services)
Please note that many staff take vacation time during the Christmas holidays. Staff will respond to your call/email once they return from holidays in the New Year.

Media Release - Cyber Security Incident Update

February 23, 2024

(GREATER NAPANEE, ON) – The Town of Greater Napanee experienced a cybersecurity incident on January 11, 2024, which temporarily impacted its network. Upon discovering the incident, the Town immediately engaged a team of third-party experts, including a forensic firm and external breach counsel to assist with containment, remediation and to conduct an investigation. The Town has also reported the incident to law enforcement.

While the forensic investigation is still ongoing, municipal services have been almost fully restored.

It was determined that normal payments for services could resume on January 22, 2024.
