The goals and objectives of the Town’s procurement operations include:

  • To obtain the best value for the Town when procuring goods and service(s) and construction.
  • To encourage competitive procurement and ensures the principles of fairness, objectivity, transparency and accountability are replanted in the Town’s procurement processes.
  • To offer a variety of purchasing methods and to use the most appropriate method depending on the particular circumstances of the acquisition.

Purchases of goods and services are made in accordance with the Town's Purchasing By-Law Number 2021-0046.

The Town utilizes GovDeals for the sale of surplus assets. Surplus items are sold “as is” and “where is” and there is no warranty or guarantee. All auction details are available at GovDeals.
