During the Canada Post labour disruption, mail will not be processed or delivered. Despite the interruptions with the mail service, you are still responsible for paying bills and parking tickets on time.

All Town services remain available during the labour disruption. Those who would like to make payments via cheque may experience delays in payment processing. To ensure no additional fees are incurred, please review our payment method options below.

The Town of Greater Napanee is easily accessible by several modes of transportation. Catch the train and head to the nearest city or grab a taxi to get to the grocery store. No matter where you need to go, you can get there from Greater Napanee!

Greater Napanee does not have its own airport; however you can fly to several nearby Regional and International Airports and travel by ground from there.

Major multi-lane divided highways, often known as 400 series roads in Ontario, lead to Greater Napanee from the East and the West via the 401.

If you're new to the area or just haven't had the time to explore, take the scenic drive along the Loyalist Parkway (Hwy 33) to the Glenora Ferry.
The Glenora Ferry shuttles cars to and from Greater Napanee/Prince Edward County at no charge. Get out of the car and take in the beautiful view of the Greater Napanee landscape from the water!
The ferry runs at regular 30-minute intervals year-round and the crossing takes about 15 minutes. For more information, please see the Ministry of Transportation's website.

Taxi Service:

  • Napanee Cab provides local taxi service and is licensed by Town By-law No. 2011-06 as amended. Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit. For service please call 613-354-6688.

Bus Service:

Train Service: 

  • VIA Rail provides long distance rail services to and from Greater Napanee. For more information and to book your train, visit VIA Rail Canada.
